Classics Cliffjumper

Got a custom cast head from Valkfan, and Red Krylon Fusioned over all the outside parts. I also painted the grill silver, engine intake(?) black, and even though I forgot to take a picture of it, chrome silver for the side rearview mirrors!! I also Black Krylon Fusioned all the grey parts (because I couldn't afford a new Bumblebee when I started to paint the red). I put some Creative Paperclay sculpting compound in the spoiler holes, and I'll be doing the same thing to BB when I paint him, too.

I can definitely appreciate the work and craftmanship that went into the head mold.

 

That said, I have to say it looks awkward. The paintwork overall is sweet, though.

I'm hoping to do the same with my Cliffjumper, that repainted Bumblebee head just doesn't cut it.

This is great. The only thing I might consider is doing the seatbacks in black. But this is nice. Especially good stuff with the now-black arms. Great work.

I was thinking about the seats, too. I'm getting a more G1-esque Bumblebee head from someone, and as soon as I can find some Yellow Krylon Fusion, I'm gonna fix him. I'm gonna do the black "kneepads" on him, and if I like it enough, I'll go back to CJ.
