Thanks to Shoppertron vendor Digital-Toys for the following tidbit:

We've just received official word from Takara that the next entry in the Masterpiece line will be MP-05 Masterpiece Megatron to be released March 2007 for only $99.95 Pre-order yours today....

Also, Takara has officially DENIED the rumors that TFC 06 Megatron will be re-released in December.

I forsee a tank Megs in G1 colors. It would be interesting to see how they would make him proportionate if they go with the handgun design. :)

Yep, and a month before release he'll be changed from a perfect 12" rendition of megs to a duck egg blue 7" version with the bright orange gun barrel hanging off as hip-kibble!!!!!!!!!!!!! :tfevil :grr
