Cartoon Network's program schedule for 2007 leaked this week over at ToonTalk. Among the series listed for the fall 2007 skew is a show called Transformers: Heroes, which is being produced by CN Studios. The listing states:

"The Transformers are back! Arriving on Earth of the future, where robots are common place as humanity's servant class. But Earth's robots have a secret that may doom humanity and their unlikely Autobot saviors."

The listing called for 26 episodes, which is a standard CN order for a first season. This jibes with Aaron Archer's comments last Botcon that the next TF cartoon would be produced in the US again.

you know this sounds pritty cool if its lagit. reminds me of season 3 of G1 cartoon seeing that robots are common place in this world now i just hope they dont copy the movie style robots for the new toons.

also will this be a post cybertron cartoon or another new continuity?

It would be killer if it were done in the style of Clone Wars.

i hope its more along the lines of the x-men cartoons then star wars style wise (yes i know X-men wasnt a CN cartoon) but for story content star wars CW seemed to be good. but i cant help but think that the movies helped alot since they didnt have to introduce many characters and the universe and continuity were already set.

back on topic i wonder what the earth robots could be hiding my guess is that the quints are controling them

26 Episodes for a First Season, it's good to hear the standard episode-usage being used here.

I doubt this'll tie into the movie. How funny/cool would it be if it tied-in to Classics?

i wonder what universe it's set in. it could be any because it sounds like the autobots have left earth and are returning after a set period of time.

I assume you mean X-Men: Evolution.
That style was great...Steve Gordon is the man. I love his art style.
It all depends on who they get to the designs. It could be anything from The Batman style to Clone Wars to X-Men: Evo.

sadly since its in the future the style of starscream, prime(both toys), magnus, and maybe BB would look dated hot rod would fit in fine tho but i think with all the post movie hype thier going to be given us all new toys to get us buying *and we will :tftongue *

Sounds awesome! I like the idea of the Autobots saving us from ourselves..

And it'd be cool to watch the realatively simple Earth-made robots evolve into the Decpticons we know and love by stealing the Autobot technology after they arrive.

I'd say the robots are planning to revolt against their human masters/creators... which is ironic when you think about it in the context of the Transformers...

i think the other robots are actually being controled by the decepticons.

it sounds nice and simple but should work well as a plot
