Kit Factory, (the one that produced the diecast Megatron sword, matrix blaster, and Misia bust) is in process of making a new Misia action figure seen here (scroll below):

http://home3.highway...s/newpage2.html
The head, boots, body, and clothes will be made from soft vinyl (the current head displayed is out of resin). The belt will be silver diecast and the bracelet gold diecast.
This item is not scheduled for sale just yet (though it says he may at the 2005 Summer Wonder Fesival) The estimate cost 15800 yen (around $155) He was wondering, and asked me if he could get the honest opinons of the U.S. TF fans. Depending on the ratings, he might or might not cancel this project.

I'm not going, but what the **** is a Misia and why do I care and why would I ever buy a HUMAN who is TF-related but could not properly interact with my robots on a somewhat believable scale with consistent production styling?
Make a Spike or Sparkplug Witwicky instead.

I think that the Misha figure is EXCELLENT.....
That being said, I really have an issue with people who design such great things, carry them all the way to production, then charge some OBSCENE price for it.
$155 is too much money for that.
I understand the rationale about how much it truly costs to make something like this. We have all heard it before from the people who know. However, it will ulitmately come down to how many are sold.
These prices guarantee that not many will be, and then it would have been a total waste of capital.
Instead of charging too much for something that won't sell... why not charge a lower amount and sell a lot? At least you get the revenues in....
In any case, I wish the guy luck and I hope he succeeds.
